A Project drawing, often referred to as a "drawing" or “sheet,” is a visual representation or diagram that illustrates various aspects of a construction, engineering, architecture, or design project.

Drawings are used to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, aiding in the planning, execution, and communication of a project's details.

In BuildOps, Project Drawings can be digitally marked up, and new versions can be added. All drawings are organized within the Project page and are conveniently accessible from the Mobile app.

  2. Click Files (left side of page) → Click the Drawings tab.

  3. Click Upload (top right corner).

How To Upload A New Project Drawing Version

  • This will be reflected in the Version History section during the Drawing Review process.

How To View Project Drawing Version History

  1. Click on a sheet number hyperlink to open a drawing.

  2. From the Project Drawing, click the Revision dropdown to select a different version of the drawing.

This feature allows users to compare “Issue for Bid” Drawings with “Issue for Construction” Drawings for quick reference.

FAQs

Q: Is it possible to rename a dawing set?

A: There isn’t an in‑place “rename” control for an existing Drawing Set label. The supported approach is to create the new set name and reassign the affected sheets to it. The Drawings upload UI lets you select an existing set or type a brand‑new set name to create it on the fly.
