BuildOps Fleet+ Two-Way Sync

Written by Angelene Rosario

What’s New

BuildOps Fleet+ now supports a two-way integration with Azuga.

Previously, information only synced one way from BuildOps to Azuga. Now, changes made in Azuga can also flow back into BuildOps automatically. This helps keep vehicle and driver information aligned across both systems and reduces the need for manual updates.

With this update, BuildOps can now reflect changes made in Azuga for:

  • Driver assignments and unassignments

  • Vehicle name updates

  • GPS device reassignments

  • Vehicle details such as make, model, year, and VIN

We also improved the setup experience in BuildOps. When you select a Device ID on a vehicle record, BuildOps can now pull in available vehicle details from Azuga automatically, helping your team connect vehicles faster and with fewer manual entries.

How It Works

Automatic updates from Azuga to BuildOps

BuildOps now receives updates from Azuga in near real time. If a driver is assigned or unassigned in Azuga, a vehicle is renamed, or a GPS device is moved to another vehicle, BuildOps will update automatically.

This means your office staff can spend less time re-entering changes and more time working with accurate fleet information.

Device ID auto-populates vehicle details

When an admin selects a Device ID on a vehicle record in BuildOps, the system now looks up the matching vehicle in Azuga and fills in any available details automatically.

Depending on the information available in Azuga, BuildOps can populate fields such as:

  • Vehicle name

  • Make

  • Model

  • Year

  • VIN

  • Device or camera serial number

This makes vehicle setup faster and helps reduce manual entry errors.

Driver assignments stay aligned

Driver assignments now stay better synchronized between BuildOps and Azuga.

If a driver is reassigned in Azuga, BuildOps will reflect that change automatically. For example, if a driver is moved from one vehicle to another, the previous assignment is removed and the new assignment is applied in BuildOps.

Azuga keeps key vehicle details aligned

When Fleet+ is connected with Azuga, BuildOps uses Azuga to keep important vehicle details and driver assignments aligned. If information changes in Azuga later, BuildOps may update those fields to match.

What to Expect

After this update is enabled for your Fleet+ connection:

  • Vehicle and driver changes made in Azuga will sync into BuildOps automatically

  • Selecting a Device ID in BuildOps can fill in vehicle details for you

  • Manual upkeep for large fleets should be reduced

  • Vehicle and assignment records should stay more consistent between both systems
