Invoices
Assets in AI Invoice Summaries
You now have the option to include names of Assets worked on when using AI Invoice Summaries, just like standard summaries. This update gives your customers a clear breakdown of the work done while keeping your workflow efficient.
Inventory & Purchasing
Easier Purchase Order Type Management
We've moved Purchase Order Type settings from Accounting to Procurement Settings and updated the interface to make it easier to use.
Now, you can quickly create, edit, and manage PO types with a cleaner layout, better filtering, and customizable views. Keeping all purchasing settings in one place makes it simpler to find what you need and sets the stage for future improvements.
Service Agreements
Edit Service Agreement Numbers in Draft
You can now edit Service Agreement numbers while they’re in draft. Fix mistakes and make adjustments before finalizing, keeping numbers unique and compliant with your settings.
Permissions
More Control Over Labor Rate Permissions
We've added separate permissions for viewing and editing Technician Labor Type & Hour Rate Settings. By default, only Admins have access, but you can update roles to grant permission as needed. Users without access will see a "No Access" message.
Mobile Job and Visit Permissions Update
To avoid confusion and missing permissions, new mobile users will automatically assigned Job and Visit – Read and Update permissions when given mobile access. This will let technicians update visit statuses and add visits during after-hours scheduling without issues. Permissions for existing mobile users will not be affected.
Accounting Integrations
Netsuite Updates
We've added two new settings to help prevent data mismatches between BuildOps and NetSuite:
Vendor Address Override: You can now disable the default override that automatically changes vendor addresses in NetSuite.
Timezone Adjustments: Set your BuildOps tenant to match the timezone in NetSuite to make sure invoices and bills show the right dates, avoiding month-end close issues.
These updates give you more control over how BuildOps syncs with NetSuite, reducing formatting issues and keeping financial records accurate.
Support Update
Help Center Link Updates
We’ve upgraded the Help Center and updated the link in the upper-right corner of the web app to access the right place faster.
