The BuildOps mobile app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. To ensure optimal performance and a smooth user experience, follow the guidelines below.
Enable Background App Refresh
To utilize the offline feature of the BuildOps mobile app, Background App Refresh must be enabled.
What is Background App Refresh?
Background App Refresh allows apps on your phone to automatically search for new information even when they are not actively running.
Android Compatibility and Setup
Enable Background App Refresh on Android:
Open Settings, then tap Connections.
Select Data usage.
Scroll down to the Mobile section and tap Mobile data usage.
Select the BuildOps app from the usage graph.
Turn on Allow background data usage.

Latest OS version plus previous two OS versions
As of June 2025, OS 15 (Vanilla Ice Cream) is the most current. OS 14 (Upside Down Cake) and OS 13 (Tiramisu) are supported
iOS Compatibility and Setup
Enable Background App Refresh on iOS:
Open the Settings app and navigate to General.
Scroll down and tap Background App Refresh.
Select either Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi & Cellular Data.
