New! BIM Viewer – View and Explore 3D Models in BuildOps Project Management
You can now view and interact with 3D coordination models right from your BuildOps Projects tab. No need to switch between tools like Navisworks or Revit. With the new BIM Viewer, field and office teams can seamlessly open BIM files and explore design intent in context.
What You Can Do:
Walk through the model with first-person navigation
Measure distances between objects or points
Click on elements to see details like material and dimensions
Slice the model using section cuts (XY, YZ, XZ planes)
Browse the full model hierarchy via tree view
Upload and view IFC, Navisworks (.NWD/.NWC), and Revit (.RVT) files
How to Use It:
No process changes needed. Just upload the file to the Files & Drawings > Files tab, click to open, and the BIM Viewer will launch automatically.
Notes:
Mobile access isn’t available yet.
Editing models or saving section views is not supported (view-only for now).
Large models may have longer initial load times.
