Public APIs for Personnel Rates

We’ve added new API endpoints that allow you to sync personnel rates with third-party systems, such as payroll or other external platforms your team uses.

These endpoints make it easier to view, create, and update employee rates without having to do it manually in the BuildOps UI.

With these APIs, you can instantly apply changes across multiple employees, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors in rate management.

Available Endpoints:

  • GET /v1/personnel-rates/employee/{{employee_id}} – Retrieve custom personnel rates for a specific employee.

  • POST /v1/personnel-rates – Create custom personnel rates across employees.

  • PATCH /v1/personnel-rates/employee/{{employee_id}} – Update existing personnel rates for a given employee.

These endpoints can be used to keep your payroll data accurate and consistent across systems.

Custom Views and Wizard Step Navigation in Project Management

We’ve introduced two new improvements to make navigating and managing your project data faster and more intuitive.

Custom Views on the Change Order Request (COR) Table

You can now customize and save table views directly within the Change Order Request table.

Use the Columns, Filters, and Density menus to configure your layout, then click Save as New Preset to store your preferred view. You can also update an existing preset or set one as your default.

This enhancement uses the same familiar Views component found across other BuildOps tables, giving you a consistent experience when managing data.

Wizard Step Navigation in Project Setup

You can now click directly on any completed step within the project setup wizard to jump ahead. No need to move step by step using “Next.”
This makes it easier to revisit and review completed stages like Project Information, Schedule of Values, or Cost Codes without losing your place in the workflow.

Permission Update for Equipment Pricebooks

Access to Equipment Pricebooks is now managed by the same permission that controls other Pricebooks within BuildOps.

You can enable this by turning on the Pricebooks permission: “Enable access to the Pricebooks menu item within the settings menu.”

This update ensures consistent behavior across Materials, Labor, and Equipment Pricebooks, allowing you to manage permissions more easily and maintain uniformed access control.

Note: This update only affects how access is controlled. The location of Equipment inside your Pricebook has not changed.
