Access and manage BuildOps API documentation
BuildOps provides API documentation and developer resources to help your team plan integrations, review available endpoints, and work with BuildOps data.
Where to find BuildOps API documentation
You can start with these BuildOps developer resources:
BuildOps Developer Center for developer resources, guides, and links to API materials
BuildOps Public API documentation for endpoint reference and API details
What to expect when accessing the documentation
Some BuildOps developer resources are available publicly, while some API documentation may require you to sign in or be invited before you can view the full project.
If you can open the documentation directly, no additional action is needed.
If you see a sign-in screen, an approval message, or a notice that you need workspace access, your email may need to be invited first.
How to request access
If you cannot access the API documentation, contact your BuildOps representative or BuildOps Support and include:
Your company name
The email address that should receive access
A note that you need access to the BuildOps Public API documentation
Once access is granted, you should receive an invitation by email.
How to sign in
After you receive access:
Open the invitation email and accept the invite
Go to the sign-in page
Choose the email sign-in option
Sign in with the same email address that received the invitation
Open the BuildOps Public API documentation
If you forgot your password
If your email has already been invited but you cannot sign in:
Select Forgot Password on the sign-in page
Enter the same email address that was granted access
Follow the verification steps sent to your inbox
Create a new password and sign in again
If password reset says your email is not a member of the workspace, contact BuildOps Support to confirm that access has been added to the correct email address.
Troubleshooting access issues
If you are having trouble opening the documentation, try the following:
I can open the Developer Center but not the API reference
The Developer Center and the API reference may not use the same access flow. If the API reference prompts for approval or sign-in, request access for your email address.
I did not receive the invitation email
Check your spam or junk folder for an email from Stoplight. If you still do not see it, contact BuildOps Support or your BuildOps representative and ask for the invitation to be resent.
Password reset is not working
Make sure you are using the same email address that was invited. If the system says you are not a member, your access may not be active yet or the invite may have been sent to a different email address.
