Note: If a user adds their time via the Project Visit, it is unnecessary to add it to the Daily Report. This will create a duplicated timesheet. Additionally, BuildOps ensures that multiple daily reports for the same project and date cannot be created to avoid conflicts. Always check existing reports before starting a new entry.

FAQ
1. Can I duplicate Daily Reports?
Yes, before creating a new Daily Report, find an existing one, click the 3 dots next to it, and click Duplicate. BuildOps does not allow multiple daily reports for the same project and date. To ensure smooth functionality:
Check Existing Reports: Before creating a new report, confirm if a report exists for the same date. This prevents overwriting or losing previous entries.
Edit Existing Reports: If a report is already available for the desired date, update it instead of creating a new one. Edit the existing report by adding the required input and save the changes.
2. Can I add photos to my Daily Report?
Yes, photos can be added in the Notes section.
3. Why can’t I select a cost code on a timesheet from mobile if no action has been taken on the project visit?
Cost codes are only available on timesheets when there’s activity tied to the project visit. Here are a few reasons why cost code selection may be unavailable:
No action taken: If no labor hours or work have been logged for the project visit, the system won’t enable cost code selection.
Missing or zero budgeted hours: Cost codes will only appear if there are budgeted hours or labor rates assigned to them on the project. If these are missing or set to zero, the cost code won't show up.
Technician Unable to Create Reports
If technicians cannot create daily reports, the issue might stem from permissions or project settings:
Verify Technician Permissions: Ensure that the specific user has permission to create and manage field reports. Missing permissions can block access.
Review Project End Date: If permissions are correctly enabled, check that the project’s end date hasn’t passed, as this will restrict report creation.
Daily Report Option is Unavailable
When the option to add a Daily Report is not visible on a project, it could be due to:
The project having an outdated end date. To resolve this, update the project's end date to extend beyond the current date. Once updated, the Daily Report option will become available again.
