Smart Field Refresh for Quote Proposal PDFs

Proposal PDFs generated from Quotes now always include the most up-to-date smart field information. Smart fields automatically refresh when you generate a Proposal, so your documents stay accurate without any extra steps.

Previously, generating a Proposal involved an additional step to ensure smart fields reflected the latest Quote details.

With this update, smart fields refresh automatically when you click Generate Proposal. This ensures recent Quote changes are accurately reflected in the Proposal PDF. To streamline the workflow, the Refresh Smart Fields button has been removed.

This feature is currently in Beta. If you’d like this enabled, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Quotes Tab on Customer Page

You can now view and create Quotes directly from the Customer and Account (for CRM+ users) detail pages. The new Quotes tab gives you a centralized place to manage all quotes associated with a customer or account.

This update makes it easier to see quote activity at a glance and take action without navigating across multiple records.

From the Quotes tab, you can:

  • View all quotes associated with the selected Customer or Account

  • Create new quotes directly from the Customer or Account page

This provides a clearer view of customer activity and simplifies quote management in one place.

This feature is currently in Beta. If you’d like this enabled, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Edit Any Quote Version Without Switching Primary

Quotes now support editing across all versions, helping teams move between options more efficiently while keeping their workflow simple and intuitive.

Previously, editing a quote version required making it the Primary version before changes could be made. This update removes that extra step, making it easier to review, adjust, and compare multiple versions as you work.

With this update, you can:

  • Click into and edit any quote version directly

  • Set a version as Primary directly from the version drop-down list

This feature is currently in Beta. If you’d like this enabled, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Google Calendar Integration for CRM+ Activities

CRM+ Reloaded now supports Google Calendar integration, allowing you to sync relevant BuildOps activities directly to your Google Calendar. This helps keep your schedule aligned with CRM activity, without needing to manage updates in multiple places.

You can connect your Google account, choose which calendar to sync, and control which activity types appear as calendar events. Once enabled, activities created in BuildOps will automatically reflect on your Google Calendar.

What’s new:

CRM+ Reloaded customers can now connect and sync BuildOps activities with Google Calendar, bringing activity scheduling and visibility into one place.

Previously, calendar syncing was only available for Outlook. With this update, Google Calendar users can now use the same integrated workflow to stay on top of activities and commitments.

How to set up Google Calendar integration

To connect your Google Calendar:

  1. Go to Preferences

  2. Open the Calendar Integration tab

  3. Click Connect Google Calendar

  4. Select and authorize the Google account you want to use

  5. Choose the calendar to sync and select which activity types should appear on your calendar

How it works once enabled

  • Create an Activity using one of the selected activity types

  • A calendar preview appears while creating or editing the activity

  • When saved, the activity is automatically added to Google Calendar as an event

This helps ensure your CRM activities and calendar stay in sync as your schedule changes.

This feature is currently in Beta and is available only to CRM+ Reloaded customers.
If you’d like this enabled, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Intacct Integration: Clear Sync Status for Credit Memo Payments

BuildOps now provides clearer and more reliable sync statuses for payments that include credit memos, helping accounting teams better understand how transactions are reflected in Intacct.

Previously, some payments that combined credit memos with invoice payments could appear as successfully synced in BuildOps, even when the transaction did not complete in Intacct. With this update, BuildOps accurately detects these scenarios and surfaces a clear sync failure status when attention is needed.

New Standard Report: Customer Summary Report (CRM+)

We’ve added a new Customer Summary Report in CRM+ to help you better understand the overall quality and performance of your customers at a glance.

This report brings together key sales and revenue signals so you can quickly see how each customer is performing across your pipeline and closed work.

What you’ll see:

The Customer Summary Report evaluates customers based on three core factors:

  • How often you quote - Track total opportunities and quoted amounts by customer.

  • How often you win - View close rates, total wins, and closed revenue across Projects, Quoted Jobs, and Service Agreements.

  • Revenue and margin insights - Analyze total dollars quoted, total dollars won, and average margin to understand profitability.

Built-in insights and filters

  • Filter by Department, Sales Rep, Vertical, Customer, Opportunity Type, Related Work, and Closed Date

  • Identify Top Customers by total quoted and won amounts

  • Compare Quoted vs. Won performance by related work type

  • Visualize how closed revenue is distributed across different types of work

This report is available to customers with CRM+ enabled.

New Standard Report: Business Trend Report (CRM+)

The Business Trend Report in CRM+ gives you a clear view of sales performance across verticals and channels, helping you understand where your business is most successful. By analyzing close rates, quoted amounts, and won revenue, this report highlights which markets perform best, who you sell to most effectively, and which channels drive the strongest results.

What you’ll see:

  • Close rates by vertical to identify high-performing markets such as commercial, industrial, education, and more

  • Close rates by channel to understand which sales channels convert most effectively

  • Performance by related work to compare results across Projects, Quoted Jobs, and Service Agreements

  • Amount won and margin insights to see where revenue is being generated and how profitable it is

This report is available to customers with CRM+ enabled.

Action Required: Upgrade Report Layout to Fix Blank PDF Exports

Some reports may export as blank PDFs if they are still using the older classic layout, which is no longer fully supported and can cause compatibility issues during export.

To ensure PDF exports work correctly, affected reports must be upgraded to the new grid layout.

Why this is happening:

Reports built on the classic layout can run into errors when exporting to PDF. As part of ongoing platform improvements, the new grid layout is now required for reliable PDF exports.

How to resolve it:

You can fix this by upgrading the report layout using either of the following options:

  • Upgrade when prompted
When you open the report, a prompt may appear asking you to upgrade to the new layout. Click Upgrade to apply the change.

  • Upgrade from workbook settings
Open the report’s Settings, then click Upgrade to new layout under the layout options.

Once the report is upgraded, PDF exports should generate as expected.

In addition to fixing PDF exports, the new grid layout gives you access to modern layout features like drag-and-drop editing, multi-select, and more responsive report design.
