BuildOps Academy is an online training hub with short, video-based courses designed to help your office team learn BuildOps faster and use it more confidently in their day-to-day work.
Who BuildOps Academy Is For
BuildOps Academy is built primarily for your back‑office team - the people running BuildOps every day:
Dispatchers
Office managers
Service coordinators
Project admins
Field management
Technicians are encouraged to complete the mobile app training modules as well, especially if they are new to BuildOps or your company.
How to Access BuildOps Academy
If you already have an Academy account
Sign in using your work email and password.
You’ll land on your Academy home page, where you can see recommended learning paths and enrolled courses.
If you’re not sure whether you already have an account, try signing in with your work email. If you still can’t get in, follow the steps below to request access.
If you need an Academy account
Right now, new BuildOps Academy accounts are created by the BuildOps team to make sure access is set up correctly. If you (or someone on your team) needs access, please reach out to our Support Team.
Please include:
Full name of each person who needs access
Work email address for each user
Company name
Their primary role (for example: dispatcher, office manager, service coordinator, project admin)
Once access is set up, each user will receive an email with instructions to sign in and start learning.
How to Navigate BuildOps Academy
Once you’re signed in to BuildOps Academy, you’ll land on your home page.
Browse learning paths – Use the catalog or navigation menu to explore paths organized by courses.
Open a course – Click on any course tile to view the lessons inside. Start from the first lesson, or jump to a specific lesson if you’re returning.
See your progress – Each course shows a progress bar or percentage so you can quickly tell how much you’ve completed.
View certificates (when available) – After you finish all required lessons and quizzes in a course, you’ll be able to view or download your completion certificate from the course page.

BuildOps Academy Group Manager
As a Group Manager in Academy, you are usually the primary contact or training lead for your company. Customers become Group Managers when their BuildOps CSM or IM assigns their user as a Group Manager for their company’s learner group. You can also reach out to BuildOps Support team if you are interested to assign yourself or someone from your team as Group Manager.
What a Group Manager Can Do
View team analytics
From the Academy home screen, click Analytics to see your group’s learners and their progress across courses and modules.
Review individual learner progress
Drill into specific learners from Analytics to see which modules they’ve completed and where they may be stuck.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Q: I didn’t receive my verification or login email
A: If you’re expecting an email to complete your login or account setup and don’t see it:
Check your Spam/Junk folder.
Confirm you used the correct work email (no typos).
If you still don’t see the email after a few minutes, contact BuildOps Support via chat or email and we’ll help you complete your setup.
Q: I see a “Network error” when trying to watch videos
A: If you can log in to Academy but receive a “Network error” when playing videos:
This usually means the connection is being blocked by a company firewall, VPN, or content filter. Try connecting from a different network (for example, mobile hotspot) to confirm.
Q: My course isn’t showing 100% complete
A: If you’ve finished the videos but your course still doesn’t show 100% completion or won’t mark as complete:
Make sure you’ve:
Watched every video in the course and marked as complete.
Opened any linked articles or practice steps
Completed all quizzes or checkpoints
If needed, click through each section again and confirm there are no items left partially completed.
If the status still looks incorrect, contact Support and let us know the:
