Forms as Visit Report Attachments

What’s Changing?

Forms completed during a visit like inspection checklists, safety forms, and equipment logs can now be attached directly to the visit report as PDFs. This removes the need to manually export forms and attach them one by one after the visit.

How It Works:

When technicians complete forms during a visit and set them to Submitted status:

  • Automatic Attachment – All Submitted forms for that visit are available to include as PDF attachments on the visit report.

  • Selective Attachment – When generating the visit report, technicians (or office staff) will see a new Forms section and can toggle each form on or off to decide which ones to include.

  • Consistent Branding – Form PDFs use a standardized layout that matches your existing visit report branding, so customers receive a clean, unified report.

Updated Visit Report Flow

  1. Complete the visit as usual, including any required forms.

  2. Generate the visit report.

  3. In the visit report settings, review the new Forms section (next to sections like Submitted Hours and Inventory Parts).

  4. Toggle individual forms on or off depending on what should be shared with the customer.

  5. Send the visit report. Selected forms are automatically included as PDF attachments in the report email.

To enable:

  • On web, go to Mobile Settings → Visit Report.

  • Ensure the Forms section is enabled.

  • Once enabled, Forms will appear as its own section in the visit report configuration and control which visit forms can be attached.
