Technicians now get clearer warnings, can reopen submitted time, and benefit from safeguards that improve tracking accuracy.

Job tags and notes now match web order, and timesheet errors are easier to understand.

Technicians can now manage asset relationships directly from mobile—no need to wait until they're back in the office.

Improved Auto Time Tracking

What's New: We’ve made major improvements to Automatic Time Tracking in the mobile app to help technicians manage time more confidently and avoid confusion or missing entries. It’s now easier for techs to track time accurately—with clearer warnings, options to reopen submitted time, and smart checks that help prevent missing or incorrect entries.

  • Clearer Submission Warnings
Technicians will now see a warning before submitting time, letting them know their timesheet will be locked. When submitting at the day level, they’ll have three options:

    • Submit all timesheet, including in-progress entries.

    • Submit only completed events.

    • Cancel submission and wait.

When submitting from a specific incomplete event, they’ll be warned and given two options:

  • Submit timesheet

  • Cancel submission and wait

  • Smarter Reopen Timesheet Workflow
If time is submitted too early, technicians can now reopen their timesheet when taking new actions—preventing lost entries.

⚠️ Notes:

  • This is for Auto-time tracking users only

  • To ensure the best results with Auto Time Tracking, we highly advise avoiding these mobile settings:

    • Mobile Settings > Gated Workflows > Setting Timesheets to be ‘Required’

    • Mobile Settings > Visit Report > Show Submitted Hours

    • Mobile Settings > Visit Report > Show Submitted Hours > Require Time Sheets Submission Before Collecting Customer Signature

These settings may interfere with auto time tracking by forcing technicians to submit time before an event is completed.

Sorted Job Tags, Notes, and Clearer Timesheet Errors

What’s New: We’ve made a few updates to keep things consistent and frustration-free—job tags and notes now follow the same order as on web, and error messages for timesheet issues are much clearer.

  • Consistent Job Tag Order: Job tags on mobile now appear in the same order as on the web.

  • Matched Job Notes Order: Job notes on mobile are now sorted to match the web order as well, improving consistency and ease of use when viewing notes.

Asset Relationship Management in the Field

What's New: Technicians can now manage asset relationships directly from mobile—no need to wait until they're back in the office. This includes adding, editing, and deleting asset relationships on mobile.

Enhanced Asset Editing Experience

  • Editable Asset Type Dropdown
Easily search and select from all asset types. If the asset is tied to a service agreement, the dropdown will be locked to prevent changes.

  • Dynamic Lifetime & Rating Units
When you update the asset type, the expected lifetime and rating units automatically adjust to match. You’ll be able to edit the rating value once the change is saved.

  • Refrigerant Product Handling
If refrigerant products are included, you’ll see a warning, and the system will automatically remove them to maintain compliance.
