Inspect Point Integration Enhancements
We updated Inspection Jobs so dispatchers can assign helpers who aren’t connected to Inspect Point, while still keeping the primary Inspector mapped correctly. You’ll now see an Inspect Point icon next to any tech mapped to an IP user, making it easier to identify the right Inspector during scheduling.
Key updates:
Techs mapped to Inspect Point now display an IP badge in the tech picker and on the Dispatch Board.
The Primary Inspector must be an IP-mapped tech; other techs appear in the list but will be greyed out.
Helpers who are not IP-mapped can now be added as Additional Technicians on Inspection Jobs.
Additional Technicians will see the IP badge on the Visit but won’t be able to open the IP link since no IP Visit is created for them.
Dispatchers can filter techs by their Inspect Point connection to quickly find available Inspectors.
Note: Helper technicians do not have a license in Inspect Point and cannot access or edit the inspection through the Inspect Point app or BuildOps.
This update applies to customers who have the Inspect Point integration enabled.
Mobile Updates for a Smoother Field Experience
We’ve made a few improvements to help technicians move faster in the field and reduce back-and-forth with the office. Techs can now access job and visit details directly from the Dispatch Board, get helpful warnings before reopening submitted timesheets, and use AI scanning to fill out purchase orders instantly from receipts.
Mobile Dispatch Board – Tap to View Details
Techs can now tap any event on the Dispatch Board to open job or visit details.
They can edit visit reports, and if they’re assigned to the visit, they can update its status by tapping on actions.

Users are routed to the event page where they can open job or visit details.
Crew Timesheets – Clear Warning Before Reopening Submitted Time
When viewing the Service Crew Time Tracking screen and at least one timesheet in the list is already submitted, saving any updates will show a confirmation alert. This alert lets you know that saving will reopen a submitted timesheet, so you can confirm the action before any changes are made.
Updated Media Picker for Images & Videos
We’ve updated the way you select images and videos on mobile app. The media picker now works the same way as our standard file upload experience, making the process more familiar and easier to use.
To add photos, videos, or files:
Tap Add at the bottom of the Attachments screen.
You’ll be taken to the Attachment Selection view.
Tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner.
Choose whether you want to upload Images, Videos, or Files.
Select the items you want to attach. Selected items will be highlighted with a check mark.
To remove a selected photo or video:
Tap the checked item again to deselect it before confirming the upload.
Project Daily Report: Overnight Visit & Daily Shift Time
Techs can now enter Daily Report start, end, and lunch times that extend past midnight using a date/time picker that allows selecting the job’s date or the next day. Overnight work, missed clock-outs, and late-night lunches can now be recorded cleanly without blocking payroll or causing errors. The app also shows the actual date on time fields whenever a tech works past midnight for better visibility and review.
What’s New:
• Support for real overnight work
Daily Report Start/End and Lunch times can now be set using a date/time picker that includes the following day.
• Better handling of missed clock-outs
If a tech forgets to end a shift the night before, they can now fix the times cleanly the next day.
• Break tracking stays accurate
Lunch and breaks can be tied to the correct shift or job even if they happen after midnight.
• Clear visibility for technicians
Fields now show the actual date for recorded times so techs can quickly review and confirm entries.
