Granular Permissions for Vendor Management

You can now manage vendor permissions more precisely!
This update lets you assign specific permissions to Create, Edit, and Archive vendors without giving full Admin access.

We’ve added three new permissions under Permissions > Libraries > Vendors so you can decide who can do what:

  • Create Vendors – Add new vendors

  • Update Vendors – Edit vendor details

  • Archive Vendors – Archive vendor records

Users without the right permission will see disabled buttons with tooltips explaining why.

This feature is in Early Access. Please reach out to your CSM if you're interested.

Early Access: Change Order V2

The Change Orders experience has been redesigned to make it easier to enter data, track progress, and manage approvals. This update introduces a modern layout, new workflow statuses, and several usability enhancements that streamline how teams create and review Change Orders.

Feature Highlights

Simplified Page Layout & Navigation

  • Organized into four tabs for smoother navigation: Scope & Pricing, Attachments, Communication History, and Activity.

  • The Attachments tab now includes a clear table view with columns for File Name, Date Added, and Added By, plus a visible Remove button for easy file management.

  • Scope & Pricing and COR Details are now separated, each with their own Edit and Save buttons, allowing changes without interrupting approval workflows.

Faster Data Entry & Configuration Options

  • Introduced a modern data grid for faster, more efficient entry of line items.

  • Added searchable dropdowns for Phase, Department, and Cost Code fields to simplify selection.

  • Added Custom Tags for easier categorization and filtering of CORs.

  • Enhanced the Generate Preview experience with a new configuration panel and live PDF preview.

  • Pricing information remains visible even after billing against a Pay App, providing continued visibility post-approval.

Improved Workflow Controls & Status Visibility

  • Added new workflow statuses for better tracking: Draft, Sent for Approval, Approved, Responded, Rejected, and Voided.

  • Added an optional Tentatively Approved status (configurable in tenant settings) for teams that want to reflect projected approvals before formal sign-off.

    • When enabled, Tentatively Approved behaves like Approved for cost and revenue calculations but cannot be billed against.

Custom Tags

  • Navigate to Company Settings → Custom Fields → Project COR Tags to create tags.

  • Add tags to a COR using + Add Tag on the COR page.

  • Remove tags by clicking the x next to each tag.

  • Filter CORs by tags within the Change Order Requests table.

Generate Preview Updates

  • The Generate Preview button now includes both Email and Add to Files options.

  • New configuration options allow you to control how pricing appears:

    • All Details – show line items with quantities and prices

    • Section Subtotals – group totals by cost type

    • Grand Total – display one total for all costs

Item Categorization & Item Types Rollout

We’re rolling out enhanced item management capabilities, making it easier to organize, classify, and manage inventory.

This update introduces:

  • Item Categorization – Create categories, subcategories, and attributes to organize items and improve filtering.

  • Mobile Item Categorization – Use the same structure on mobile for a consistent field experience.

  • Item Types – Define whether an item is Inventory, Non-Inventory, or a Fee for better tracking and reporting.

Property Tags

You can now add and manage tags on properties, giving your team an easier way to categorize, organize, and filter property data.

Property Tags can be configured in Company Settings → Custom Fields → Property Tags and applied directly to individual properties. These tags are visible to all users and can be updated by admins.

Setting Up Tags

  1. Navigate to Company Settings → Custom Fields → Property Tags.

  2. Click Add Property Tags.

  3. Enter each tag name (e.g., Expensive, For Sale, High Priority) and click Save.

Applying Tags to Properties

  1. Open a property record.

  2. Click Add Tag under the property name.

  3. Select the applicable tag(s).

  4. The selected tags will now appear on the property page.

Viewing and Filtering Tags in the Property List

  • Tags are displayed in the Tags column on the Property List.

  • Use the Filters panel to quickly locate properties by tag.

  • Deleted tags will no longer be assignable but will remain visible on properties where they were previously used.

  • All users can view tags; only those with permission to manage custom fields can create or delete tags.

This feature is in Early Access. Please reach out to your CSM if you're interested.
