Smart Recap for Daily Reports
We’ve added Smart Recap for Daily Reports to help you quickly understand what’s been happening on your projects even without opening each individual report.
Smart Recap automatically reviews your latest Daily Reports and generates a summary of key updates such as completed work, materials used, and notes from your team. This gives you a clear overview of project progress and saves time when tracking day-to-day activities.
You’ll find Smart Recap at the top of the Daily Reports page within a project.
From there, you can see highlights from recent reports or even ask questions like “What work was completed yesterday?” to get instant answers based on your own report data.
This update helps you stay informed and focus on managing your projects efficiently without needing to dig through multiple reports.

Global Search for Jobs and Visits
We’ve made it even easier for you to find what you need in the BuildOps mobile app.
With the enhanced Global Search, you can now search across Jobs (including Maintenances) and Visits all from one place.
You can access Global Search by tapping the magnifying glass icon at the top of the Visits page. From there, you can search by job or maintenance number, name, description, or by visit number or description to quickly locate the record you’re looking for.
Results now display with richer context, improved accuracy, and better filtering, helping you find the job faster without needing to navigate through individual Properties or Work Histories.
This update helps you stay focused on the task at hand, whether you’re managing ongoing work or checking past visits on the go.

Improved Nameplate Scanning for Offline and Low Connectivity
We’ve improved the asset nameplate scanning experience so you can continue adding assets even when your connection is weak or offline.
Previously, technicians couldn’t proceed if the nameplate scan didn’t finish due to limited connectivity. With this update, you can now manually enter the Make, Model, and Serial information while the scan is still processing or when you’re completely offline.
Once you regain connection, the app keeps the data you entered and does not overwrite it with scan results. This ensures that your work continues smoothly, and no asset information is lost or delayed because of internet issues.
You’ll notice this enhancement when adding assets on mobile. Even if the scan is “processing from nameplate,” you can still type directly into the fields and save your progress right away.
Cost Code Descriptions in Daily Reports
When adding productivity in a Daily Report, you’ll now see the Cost Code descriptions displayed alongside each code.
This makes it easier to identify and select the correct Cost Code without needing to reference it elsewhere, helping you fill out reports more accurately and efficiently.
Improved Department Search on Mobile
We’ve updated the Department drawer and search functionality in the new Job and Visit workflows.
You can now search more easily for departments, even if their names are long or contain multiple words. The new search experience makes selecting departments faster and more reliable as you create or edit jobs and visits on mobile.
Multiple Image Uploads in Forms V3
We’ve enhanced the Image field in Forms V3 to support uploading multiple photos under a single input.
Technicians can now attach several images at once instead of adding separate fields for each photo, making it faster to capture and document all required visuals for a task or inspection.
When multiple photos are added, you’ll see a preview of the first image and the total number of uploads. You can tap More to view all images linked to that input.
This is for customers with Forms V3 enabled.
Updated Media Picker for Images & Videos
We’ve updated the way you select images and videos on mobile app. The media picker now works the same way as our standard file upload experience, making the process more familiar and easier to use.
To add photos, videos, or files:
Tap Add at the bottom of the Attachments screen.
You’ll be taken to the Attachment Selection view.
Tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner.
Choose whether you want to upload Images, Videos, or Files.
Select the items you want to attach. Selected items will be highlighted with a check mark.
To remove a selected photo or video:
Tap the checked item again to deselect it before confirming the upload.
