To help protect your BuildOps account, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security when signing in.

Here’s how to set it up on the BuildOps Mobile App:

What to Expect

When MFA is enabled for your account, you’ll be asked to set up an authenticator app (like Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator) the next time you sign in to BuildOps Mobile.

How to Set Up MFA

  1. Sign in to the BuildOps Mobile App

    • Enter your BuildOps credentials as usual.

  2. Set Up Your Authenticator App

NOTE: If you previously have BuildOps on your authenticator, you may have to remove your Buildops account on your authenticator and process the new QR codes to get the new codes.

  • You'll be prompted to either scan a QR code or enter a setup key manually.

  • Open your preferred authenticator app (e.g., Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Duo Mobile).

  1. Scan or Enter Setup Code

    • Scan the QR code shown in the prompt OR

    • Manually enter the code provided by BuildOps into your authenticator app.

  2. Enter the Verification Code

    • Your authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code.

    • Enter that code into the prompt in the BuildOps app to complete the setup.

  3. MFA is Now Enabled

    • MFA is now active, and you’ll be asked to enter a new code from your authenticator app each time you sign in.
